Why enquire directly

A trader reviews every enquiry personally — no queue, no bot.

  • No published minimum. Tell us the size; we tell you if we can fill it.
  • A written quote before you commit to anything.
  • KYC/AML documentation requirements are the same regardless of size.

What the desk does

Four services, one relationship. Every trade is executed against a written agreement — a signed order or verifiable communication — never a handshake.

01Crypto to fiatconvert a position to USD
02Fiat to cryptoacquire size without moving the book
03Crypto to cryptoswap between assets
04Escrowwhere the transaction calls for it

How settlement works

Timing depends on what moves and where it lands.

Crypto ↔ Crypto
Hours, often near-instant
Subject to network conditions.
Wire-Involved
1–3 business days, typical
Depends on banking hours and receiving institution.

We give an estimated window on every trade. We do not guarantee execution times: blockchain congestion, banking hours and compliance review all affect them, and we would rather tell you that up front than after.

What we need from you

Every client is screened before a trade is executed. This is standard KYC and AML practice, and having it ready is the single biggest factor in how fast your first trade settles.

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Proof of residential address
  • A source-of-funds declaration
  • Business registration documents, for entity accounts

Incomplete documentation delays a transaction. It can also mean we decline it.

Fees

There is no rate card, because there is no single rate. Pricing on any given trade reflects transaction size, jurisdiction, transfer method, asset type and how fast you need it executed.

You get a quote before you commit. Custom pricing is available for high-volume or repeat clients by written agreement. Fees are due on completion and exclude taxes and government charges.

What we do not promise

Read this before you trade.

Crypto transactions are irreversible. Once settled, a transfer cannot be recalled.

Prices move. Volatility and slippage between quote and execution are real, and they are yours.

Timing is an estimate, not a guarantee. Network congestion, banking delays and third-party systems are outside our control.

We may decline or delay a trade — and request further documentation at any stage — where there is a regulatory concern, suspected fraud, or adverse media.

Trading since 2017

BitWallet, Inc. has operated a cryptocurrency desk out of Houston — through the 2018 downturn, the 2022 contagion, and every cycle since. Most desks trading then are no longer trading.

The company is a Texas corporation, registered with the U.S. Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network as a money services business, and files with the SEC under CIK 0001776049.

Registration with FinCEN is a legal requirement for money services businesses. It is not an endorsement, certification, or approval of any business by any government agency, and you should not rely on it alone when choosing a counterparty. Verify any desk directly at msb.fincen.gov before sending funds.

In the press

In 2022, BitWallet settled the transaction behind the first NFL game suite ever sold using digital currency — a publicly documented deal with the Houston Texans.

WHAT BITWALLET IS NOT

What BitWallet is not

Plainly, so there is no confusion about what you are dealing with:

  • ✓BitWallet is not a bank. Funds held in connection with a trade are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) or the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).
  • ✓BitWallet is not registered with the SEC or FINRA as a broker-dealer or investment adviser, and does not provide investment advice. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset.
  • ✓Digital assets are volatile and transactions are irreversible. You are responsible for your own tax reporting.
